~ENGG2800 Group 10,Fought for 23 Hrs Non Stop~

A tired but very Well-accomplished Weekend for me over here in Brisbane..The Day I ll never forget in my entire Studies life..My team project group 10 which consist of Sean,Thomas our software side and me actually worked from Sun 22 Oct 06 1200hrs to Mon 23 Oct 06 11ooHrs non stop without sleeping juz to get the Infra Red project done. The deadline was 23 Oct 1000 hrs.We were 1 hr late because of a last min situation, but Thomas n Sean was calm to overcome that.
At the TP lab, there was over 30+ students like us,doing either TP1(Infra Red) or TP2(Wireless) staying overnight. The scenario was like CNY day 1,everyone was staying overnight to wrap "Ang Bao" to visit relatives on the first day of the Lunar New yr,like we submitted the project to the office on Mon 1000 hrs.The spirits were high and morale was not damping at all...
We had been doing the project regularly from week 1,till the past week,we stepped up a notch by staying inside the Lab till at least 8pm daily....On Sat and Sun,we decided to go into full swing by pumping in all our time on it by staying in the lab till we get this thing submitted.....The hardware side was fine, but the software was having complications.Thomas actually cracked his mind from Sun 8pm plus till 1am plus to get it done. When it was unable to proceed further,we went to the nearest petrol kiosk to pick up some coffee to keep our mind going. When back,he didnt call it quit but sit down there calmly trying his very best to resolve the barrier...I really got to give it to him..Till 4am,Sean n I decided to get the Vero board into the casing and wrap up everything ready for submission. We strike during day-break all the way to submission.
Only during tough times it makes a person make or break. From this TP1,I can confirmed that physical and mental stress didnt break us at all...It pulled us stronger, keep us fighting more fiercely and more determine towards our goal....
It was not the project that I learnt,it was the professionalism and experience that I valued most.
Looking at Stephanie, our EE course mate who was 1 of the few gals who fight with us till day-break...If a gal was so presistent, there is no excuse for anyone of us to call it quit....She is good...
Lastly on Sun nite,I got this good support from the "Past" and maybe the "Future"???..Both Scorpio..hahaha...Anyway this is really a good learning experience...I will keep this as a valuable chapter in life, hopefully to be able to share with my kids in the near future....
ENGG2800 Group 10..Well Done.....We fought Well and with this Spirit we are confident to take on any further challenge in life.
